This research project consists of two phases, and this is Phase 1. In this phase, you will answer questions about language fluency and language experience, as well as complete a "Chinese proficiency test" that covers vocabulary knowledge, sentence comprehension, and text reading.

Phase 1 will cost you approximately 20 minutes. Upon completing Phase 1, you will receive the compensation stated in this webpage, regardless of whether you are qualified for Phase 2. If you pass the criteria for Phase 2, you can access the webpage when Phase 2 opens. The compensation of Phase 2 is double of Phase 1.
